We came across a marquee that we had never seen recently. Had to look it up to figure out what was going on. Apparently Tournament Arkanoid was the successor to Arkanoid, but for some reason Romstar thought “tournament” might be an exciting was to say “two”. For one reason or another, every 1945 marquee we’ve ever seen has either been cropped down a considerable amount, or printed on crappy paper and then laminated. We FINALLY found a good clean full sized marquee and very quickly scanned and cleaned it. One of the best shoot em ups of all time. Check it out in our store HERE, and peep below for a play through:

We’re always surprised by how many different variations there are for Street Fighter. It seems as if right when we’re on the cusp of collecting all the art for the marquees, another request comes in for Alpha Beta Zero Plus Four Gamma Zeda. Someone finally did it! A mini lightbox for the mini marquees we send out. Richard has done quite a few light boxes with the marquees we produce, and they always look cherry! Only this time, he went above and beyond and created the cutest little light box in the history of light boxes! Thanks again for the photos Richard!
The ever so rare Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters arcade marquee is finally in our collection. Rare game on the tail end of the Atari streak, this marquee just did not pop up in any fashion for us until now. We always like seeing alternative uses to the marquees. This one comes in from Johnny D. A very creative use for displaying some badass Terminator 2 memorabilia. From the looks of it, a color changing LED and some classic VHS and DVD cases. Thanks for the pics Johnny.
This is probably the easiest mystery marquee that we’ve done. Would imagine it only taking about a day for someone to get. Super popular classic arcade from the 80s.
