Cody’s Custom Battle Toads Arcade
We always like seeing custom builds at Arcade Marquee Dot Com. This one really resonated with us because we used to play Battle Toads a ton as kids as well. Check out Cody’s build with the short blurb below:
“Its my first build so its nowhere near perfect, it doesn’t have T-molding because I used half inch plywood and I don’t have that tool to cut the groove along the edges yet, but I’m still proud of myself lol, I remember playing battletoads at a roller rink as a kid, and its only 3 player on arcade, didnt have $4k so i decided to make a cabinet myself (one that would fit through my door), its just an old PC and some Christmas lights for the marquee at the moment.”

Narc Arcade Marquee
The Narc marquee presented a slight issue with scanning. Originally the marquee was actually part of the bezel glass, which makes for difficult scanning. We were finally able to capture it and create a nice reproduction for all those collectors that need one for a conversion cabinet. There’s nothing quite like blowing up a crack head with a rocket launcher, and then taking their hypodermic needles and cash. Gotta love the 80s. Rollergames Arcade Marquee
80s marquees with live characters are some of our favorites. They represent everything that was awesome about the 80s: over the top hair, bad acting, and cheesiness beyond belief. Burger Time Arcade Marquee
Burger Time was one of those games that we never really saw growing up in the 90s. I would assume it was because it was not as profitable to route as say, a Ms. Pacman or Galaga. Now a days though, this is one of the more desirable games on the market. We often see it go for over $1k, and upwards of $2k at Captain’s Auction in Anaheim. As for the art, there’s really nothing more terrifying than a 6 foot sausage with green shoes chasing after you.

Occasionally we will get orders for claw machines. We very much liked the design of Zandy’s, who happens to be a graphic designer. Check it out below, with a small blurb from the creator: Joseph:

Darksoft Arcade Marquee
Just got done designing a Darksoft Arcade Marquee for the release of the multi cps2 system. The system looks amazing. To have access to all cps2 games in one arcade, non emulated, sounds like fun. Can’t wait to get one.
