Fight Club Custom Marquee
Had a cool custom come in for a customer. Too bad they never came out with a Fight Club arcade game. Closest thing would probably have to be Pit Fighter, hah. Thanks to Wesleybeth for the pics!

Star Wars Trilogy arcade has one of those super cool marquees that juts up above the game. Which is awesome, but also very easy to break. You’ll be rolling that sucker under a door and then all of a sudden *POP* your marquee is in a hundred pieces. We decided to design a marquee that simply fits in the marquees space. Check it out in our store HERE, and check out a video below for that sweet sweet nostalgia we all desire:
PS, holy crap this guy playing is friggin good!
Had a customer recently send us images of this Dungeons and Dragons Light box and it looks great! Also, we must note that Dungeons and Dragons is the best 4 player side scroller of all time. So much replay value! Thank you to Keith S. for the photos.
Explanation below from the man himself:
“I used one 1X10 inch 8 foot long pine board. And 3/4 inch plywood piece for the back. I cut 3 pieces 2 and 7/8 wide for the sides and the bottom and one piece 2 and 9/16 wide for the top. I put the sides onto the plywood back using glue and pocket holes. Then glued 1/8 thick plywood 3/16 inch from the top to form a “rail” for the glass and marquee to slide on. Then got strips that protruded 1/8 inch wider than the boards to make a frame to go on the top of the box. Drilled a hole in the back and using U shaped nails to hold it down used a string of 5050 led lights to the back although I think 3850 led would probably work to since I used a good a lot of the strand. Slide a piece of glass along between the frame and the top piece I cut 3/16 inch shorter than the other than the sides and the bottom. Then slid the marquee over the glass piece.”

Always like seeing pictures of the big blues. Dylan R. was restoring a Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition Capcom Big Blue cabinet and purchased our Big Blue and Plexi combo. Thanks for the photo Dylan! Check out the Big Blue and plexi combo in our store HERE.
For one reason or another, every 1945 marquee we’ve ever seen has either been cropped down a considerable amount, or printed on crappy paper and then laminated. We FINALLY found a good clean full sized marquee and very quickly scanned and cleaned it. One of the best shoot em ups of all time. Check it out in our store HERE, and peep below for a play through:
Finally found a good scan of Raiden Fighters JET thanks to Lawrence W.
One of the more rare shmup boards, which regularly goes for over $500 on ebay. Probably one of our favorites growing up, but jeez, what a quarter eater. Check out the play through below, and click HERE to buy one in our store.
Just had a customer volunteer to make us some light boxes. Big thanks to Richard Ivey for producing the cutest light boxes we have ever seen. He is also working on a Gunsmoke light box we are incredibly excited to see! Keep it up!
For this mystery marquee, we have a very fun side scroller. Hints to come if unsolved.

This could possibly be one of the cleanest 4 slots we have ever seen. Thanks to Josef for the photos and continued business on the Neo Geo mini marquees.
First name or gamer tag: Josef
Years collecting: 2
Rarest game: Probably Alpha Mission II
Favorite game: Strikers 1945 Plus & Neo Turf Masters
Anything about the Neo Geo world:
Couple of years back I had an arcade cab with a single slot Neo Geo JAMMA board in it and a 161 in 1 multicart. That was the closest I could get playing Neo Geo on original hardware since finding an original Neo Geo cab here in Germany is very hard.
Last year I was finally lucky, found an original Neo Geo Big Red 4 Slot in a German arcade forum and immediately pulled the trigger. The seller told me that the cab is originally from a US military base here in Germany and his friend restored it couple years ago.
It is in great condition, only thing I have done so far was repainting the control panel and swapping the sticks and buttons for new ones.
I consider myself very lucky and proud to have such a great cabinet in my collection!

Thanks again Josef!
Our next mystery marquee hails from the 80s. Semi popular game that is rarely seen now-a-days.
